The Providence Home for Memory Impaired Seniors

Enter the doors of 2456 Geary and you will discover a home for people that are receiving loving care from the heart.  Our team — from the cook to the founder are busy visiting, sharing, and holding the hands with the people inside. Providence’s secured Victorian-style home is a warm, friendly environment.  Baking bread and laughter welcomes you into our residence.  The gold tones threaded throughout in our paintings, furniture and carpeting draw you deeper inside our doors to meet the people who reside here.

Providence Place cares for 31 residents in San Francisco’s only free-standing community devoted to the care of people with all stages of memory impairment. With nearly 20 years of experience in caring for seniors, we are a trusted provider of services to the elderly.

Our approach is simple: Provide the highest level of care to our Extended Family of residents and their families. Treat our residents as if they were our own mother or father, with respect, admiration and love. Create an intimate home environment where quality of life reigns supreme.

Our exceptional staff is at the core of who we are and what we do. We take great pride in developing and training a staff that are caregivers at heart first and by career second.

Our families experience a great sense of relief after their loved one moves into Providence Place. They can trust that we will oversee all aspects of care. Providing personal care (showers, toileting, medications, etc.) is only the tip of what we can do for our clients.

The final touch you must be sure not to miss are the Memory Boxes located throughout our community.  Each one holds photos and memorabilia of past and present clients that share our home and have become part of the Providence family.  Each person that enters our home is truly welcomed and cared for as a cherished guest.
