What Type of Care is Right for You
Providence offers an integrated suite of
services tailored to the individual needs of each person and their family.
An experienced and dedicated family guide will help you select the
right type of care and develop a long-term care program based on your
unique situation.
We provide several
choices for your care:
Visiting or live-in home attendant — a
carefully screened and trained Providence Caregiver travels to your current
location
Transitional care — combines
days in our residential community with attendant care at home — to ‘buy
time’ and smooth the adjustment from home to residential care
Providence Place
— immediately move in to our gracious assisted
living community in the heart of San Francisco
Providence offers the following service to help you
plan for the future. |

A designated professional care manager
will welcome you by getting to know you, your family and your
unique needs. After conducting a thorough assessment of your
situation, we will both develop a personal care plan and implement
it. |
We can step in to conduct short-notice
assessments and make recommendations to professionals and options
in the Bay Area. There will be someone who is able to guide you
during this overwhelming time, and to help you make sense of
the medical maze. |
A specially-trained team of professionals,
working with the broader medical community, enable us to effectively
care and manage even the most difficult cases. We offer home
programs in which trained professionals work with clients who
suffer from memory impairment, Dementia, Parkinson’s,
Alzheimer’s, end-of-life and behavioral and mental disorders. |
To determine what type of care is right for you, we will conduct a comprehensive
assessment of your needs. Then, calling on our 16 years of experience caring
for elders, we carefully assess the options for you or your loved one.
Finally, we discuss your choices with you and make sure you are well-educated
and comfortable with your decision. When you engage our services, we ensure
that you and your loved one receive the highest quality of care.
